Family Day
Every year, schools hold a special event for students to bond with their family. Families nowadays, spend more time on their work, projects and other work or school related activities. As time passes by we, students, try to bond with our families. School supports this ideal relationship and that's what the event “Family Day” encourages. Students are asked to bring their family to school so that they could use that time to bond with each other.
This year’s Family Day is tribal themed. All the grade levels are given respected tribes and are expected to practice their certain tribunal dance for them to present on the event. There were some difficulties at first because we weren’t familiar with the given theme, but eventually we were able to get used to it. As the day arrived we got all excited as we saw our tables and tents being set up and trucks unloading sound systems. In order to get rid ourselves of nervousness and anxiety, we gathered around. Parents came and made conversation with other adults. After the exhausting day we had, we felt sleepy and tired but was still able to have fun.
Every second spent with your family should be cherished even if they are considered as people who stay with you no matter what but aren’t always around.
They’re there for you through times of darkness and light. Through thick and thin, through the good times and the bad times. The experience might turn into a speck of memory but this memory should be held dearly.
